Sorry Sidesparks does not work.. my mods can't kick or ban unruly people... people from other sites are able to enter our channel which is unexceptable

The ajax chat integration mod works on 2.0.2 you just have to look through the posts for the current version.

AJAX chat is probably the best of the existing options. Flashchat is good, but heavier on the server.

^ this!   You have 2 chats.  One shoutbox and 1 chat room, and you can turn which one on or off you want, and select which membergroups have permission to use which.  And give membergroup permission for mods of chat who can kick/ban members from the chat.  Here's the 2.0.2 link ( attched zip is in the post), just read the FAQ topic if you have questions on how to make its functions work.
