SMF Copyright Date

I noticed that the copyright year on here and on my personal forum have 2011 on it. Is that something that needs updating or is that as expected?

when/if the team decides to update the copyright year it will be done, otherwise it should not be changed.

Yup, it should only be updated as and when the software is updated, not any other time. The copyright date is of the last release - and since the last releases were 2011, that is what the copyright date should be.

and do note that the copyright date of the SOFTWARE has no bearing, at all, on the copyright or copyright date of your SITE...
