Unable to delete old attachments

Will it keep running with me disconnected, I am on dial up and it shuts down every 2 hours.

2 hours should be enough time to know if it is going to progress at all.

Just over an hour and nothing, it does not move from 1%.

60473 if it is reading correctly.

that is the total number of attachments, click the repair button and it will tell you how many are missing

Click repair and it goes straight into attempting to repair, it does not show how many are missing.

If I click on file maintenance it shows 30457 attachments.

let the repair go for a while it may help.

I'd expect that to take quite a while, myself.

It is but every now and then I have to re-login to keep it going, two hours from now and I will be going to bed, what then?

Leave it running?

You should be able to prevent being logged-out by going to Admin>Server settings>Cookies and Sessions and setting "Default login cookies length (in minutes)" to something ludicrous, I believe.

I'm wondering if repairing the database from your CPanel might work...

that would have no effect if the users internet disconnects every 2 hours though. maybe a friend has a better connection and you could use that to let it run longer?

Stopping it now, had enough and need some sleep, I reckon the 1 file every second is not correct as still on 1%.
