Embbed video links

Is there a different mod that is more current and is supported like the Avea media lite that will embed videos? Reason I am asking is I am having conflicts with it working with pages that have images using Highslide. Since Avea is no longer being supported or developed I doubt there will be a fix for this so was wondering if there was a alternative I could try. Just looking to embed the videos in posts just by posting the link like it does now without use of BBC.

Aeva is still being supported and developed, just not for SMF. Thing is, the Lite version shouldn't have any conflicts with Highslide and the only reason the main version does is because it has its own implementation of Highslide. (So, really, are you sure you're using the Lite version) Though, to be honest, in the newer version there's a replacement to Highslide that works better (IMO, anyway) and might be expanded to all images anyway. I'd also note that Aeva still works just fine with SMF so it's not as though it's not current.

There is the SAVE mod you can try, but it's anyone's guess whether it'll work as well.

So basically it's not being supported and developed since I use SMF and it will do me no good otherwise. I am use the the Lite version because the full version contains the photo gallery which I do not need because I am using the SMF since Aeva doesn't do what I need. So does the lite version come with Highslide already? I thought it was the Aeva Media version that came with it. If it does then that would explain a lot, if it doesn't then the lite version is conflicting with Highslide.

Example, page below has video embedded using Aeva lite. Pictures below don't slide out, they open on its own new page.

This page doesn't contain any links for embedded video so Aeva lite is not used and the pics slide out just fine.

Any explanation or possibility that could be causing this?

Why would the lite version come with Highslide? It doesn't have to embed images from a gallery - which is the only reason the main version has Highslide.

The underlying problem is that 'publish' link that you have, which because it contains the content of the post, Aeva is modifying it - and making invalid Javascript which causes other things to break.
