Hey guys,

I need help with my smf 2.0.1 forum ( I plan on updating after this is resolved ) anyway I used the auto installer on my host and now @ the footer I get Powered by Cixx6 Free Hosting well I brought my domain and I dont want it to look dum with a free host so can someone please help me and tell me what file I have to edit

Looking at how they implemented it, I'd say Themes/default/index.template.php is the file that will need modification. Mind you, the fact they're placing other tracking information into the footer too, I'd be inclined to replace the theme entirely with a different one and see if there's still a copyright there - and if there is, maybe find a new host.

I would have uploaded all the stuff myself but my internet is totally stupid

And its not working for default in index.template.php and I tried changing the theme but its the same it must be in a permanent file

I found the script when I right clicked and selected view source

No, I don't want the source of that page, I already saw that. I need the actual PHP file itself to see how they added it in the source code.

Can you tell me what file I can deal with the rest I just wana know what file.

I already did. It's probably Themes/default/index.template.php. But like I said, it might not be that file, and I need to see it to tell you if it is or not, and if it's not there's more required.

I'm not doing it by FTP, I do support here in public and not on a 1:1 basis unless you're paying me to do so at my standard consulting rate.

My guess is that's in Themes/default/languages/index.english.php. Mind attaching that? If it's not in there, it will be in Sources/Subs.php.

humm wierd I used the auto installer from cixx6 and after that I installed the smf modification for 2.0.2 I would have uploaded myself but the problem was it wouldn't let me it got stuck at 3 and just stopped working then it says disconnected
