Hello,

I use SMF. I have several forums with a bunch of boards in every one of them, and it makes index page very complex with lots of information, and a bit of unusable due to that.

My question is: is possible to get a list of a boards on separate page? I would like to have separate board list for every forum.

I use version 1.1.14.

Thank you in advance!

Illori

by default that can not be done. also you should upgrade your forum 1.1.16 is out.

Is possible to do it using some plugin or extension?

What about actual version of SMF, does it have feature like that?

MrPhil

Just to make sure you have your terminology clear, you load the forum's index page (first page) and you see a bunch of categories, and under each category you see its boards. You click on a board and you see its topics. You click on a topic and you see its posts. So what exactly are you looking for on the first (index) page, or are you talking about something deeper down? Are you looking to show only the categories on the first page, and have to click on a link to get to its board listing? While that's not built into SMF, I'm sure it could be done with a mod.

i need to have:

- forum home
  -- cat 1
    -- cat 11
      -- cat 111
      -- cat 112
      -- cat 113
    -- cat 12
      -- cat 121
      -- cat 121
    -- cat 13

  -- cat 2
    -- cat 21
    -- cat 22
      -- cat 221
      -- cat 222
      -- cat 223
      -- cat 223
    -- cat 23
    -- cat 24
      -- cat 241
      -- cat 242
      -- cat 243
      -- cat 244
    -- cat 25

  -- cat 3
    -- cat 31
    -- cat 33
      -- cat 331
      -- cat 332
      -- cat 333
    -- cat 33

only the last item needs to have posts in it.  sometimes it is on level 1, but sometimes it is on level 2 or even 3.

tnx in adv, hope this explanation helps.

Take a look on the mod site to see if there is anything there that will let you do what you are asking.
