I'm moving from SMF2 RC5 to SMF2.02 but because I wish to redo my theme I am using SQL to insert the current database tables into a new database. So far no problems however although I did this for the 'smf_log_mark_read' table I am still getting the 'new' tag on posts read long ago. Was wondering if I missed a critical table that ties into the 'smf_log_mark_read' table?

Because of the size of my database I am reluctant to switch the database path to the production database since it has 67 tables vs. the new database which has 63 and because I'm still working on the new theme before I go 'live'.

Thanks for any help/insights.

Sorry it has taken so long for someone to respond.

Did you attempt to run the upgrade script on the database or go through the upgrade_2-0_mysql file to make sure all the indexes were created correctly?  Seeing as you are going from RC5 to 2.0.2 I wouldn't think there would be too many differences in the database.

Did you try running the forum maintenance options?
