Games buttons menu?

Hello all,

this may sound difficult, but I am looking for a mod, that adds a button on the Menu and gives a drop down links, on that list I can set several names of games, reason is that my clan has decided to recruit within all games. and we would want some kind of roster system/section system for each game, I know I aint good at explaining so I will try with an example.

Menu buttons are as all know Home, Help, Search, Profiles, My Messages

The mod I would like is like this.

Games
    -Battlefield (when clicking takes you to a new page)
    - Mw3 (when clicking takes you to a new page)
    - SWTOR (when clicking takes you to new page)

hope I explained good enough, does anyone know if there is a mod like this? all I can find is Menu buttons, where you need URL link on all, or Cutom Pages mod, this would have been perfect if it wouldnt create a button for each game I need a drop down function so buttons dont mess up the baner etc

I assume you are using SMF 2.0

There are mods already available that can get this done for you.

First mod = 6 Custom buttons / tabs and menu's (upto 4)

You will more than likely need to use the Advanced Options in the Package Manager to "Emulate the version to 2.0 RC3" to install this mod.

Second mod = Custom Action Mod

The custom action mod is simple to use.
1. Action Name this will be the name that will appear in a list, eg Battlefield
2. Action URL e.g. battlefield
3. Choose the page type. BBC, HTML, PHP.
4. Optional set up permissions. If it's for public just leave it.
5. Leave Show menu Button un-ticked. I'll explain later.
6. Enabled = ticked.
7. Body, input the page contents in HTML or BBC or PHP.
8. Save it.

Go back to the custom button mod
For Battlefield link you enter in
?action=actionname
The actionname will determine to what you put in the Action URL. In my case I'll put in battlefield.

For me it will be:
?action=battlefield

Do the above for the rest of the sub menus.

Go to Manage Permissions, Allow access to all member groups so they can see the new menu option.

AAh it worked still I wish I could have many more drop downs than just 4, I have to add more buttons wich again was something I hoped for I didnt have to to keep the mnu as clean as possible, and we game many games so I would now have several Ladder buttons on menu.. But apart from that this was awesome thank you

One customs tab mod allows 6 buttons.

yeah thats the one he sent here, but I didnt see the extender so now we h ave 8 drop downs so thanks for help man now we have a ladder function in our community!
