Moved servers overnight now getting errors "Wrong value type sent to the database. Integer expected. (last_update)"

Wrong value type sent to the database. Integer expected. (last_update)

Any chance of attaching Load.php to your next post, so that we can have a gander?

clothahump

Getting similar now with mobiquo.

Wrong value type sent to the database. Integer expected. (last_update)

File: /home/tropical/public_html/mobiquo/include/Load.php
Line: 2362

kat

Is that file from the first site or the second?

Line 2362 in the file you attached is simply:

}

Whereas on the first site, line 2512 is:

array(

which looks totally wrong, to me.

Try renaming the file to something like Load0.php and put a virgin copy of the file in there, instead (So you can delete it and rename the original back, if you need to) and see what happens.

clothahump

In both places or does the script call the file form one source?

kat

Well, to be honest, not much of that file, around that area, looks like the original. There's nothing in there that suggests there's a mod that's altered the code, either.

It rather looks as though someone's edited it, manually, and known even less about coding than I do.

But, I could be wrong, which is why I made the suggestion.

clothahump

All it did was wipe out the site completely, anybody else know what is going on?

kat

You renamed the file to Load0.php and put a virgin copy of the file in there?

That wiped your site out? I actually find that difficult to believe, depending what you mean by "Wiped out".

No way should that have happened. The worst that should have happened is that any mods that you have, which have changed that file, wouldn't have worked.

So, I guess we're looking at some deeper problem going down.

clothahump

White page with a virgin copy in place, switched back to the old one and all back and running, still getting the errors.

kat

Is it me? Or does that really not make any sense?

Let me give the support team a wave and see if it makes any sense to them.

clothahump

I changed the name of the file on the server, uploaded a fresh copy of Load.php, this caused white page, removed Load.ph and renamed original and all fine apart from still getting errors.

Kermit

Can you please attach the related file again ? Because the file which you attached have something like this in the beginning

application/x-httpd-php Load.php
PHP script text

which shouldn't be there

Clear your browsers cache and cookies. If that doesn't work, run repair_settings.php.

What is repair_settings.php?

clothahump

So I will need to get all the members to clear their cache and cookies as well for it to work then?

Matthew K.

Try clearing your browsers cache and cookies, and then run repair_settings.php. - Take note of the cookie name.

Then try clearing your forums cache too to be safe.

No, I doubted it would work when you suggested it.  ::)

If that error message from your first post occurs again, you can try to empty (not delete) the smf_sessions table via phpMyAdmin

TRUNCATE `smf_sessions`;

you can try to run this SQL query in phpMyAdmin

Did you clear your forums cache like I suggested? And wow, you know how to get people to help you (sarcasm; I just about walked away from this topic and told you to fix your own problems after your last reply which was rude).

That's a good call, but I do believe this is an issue with the $modSettings cache.

clothahump

I have run every task there is going, and have just done it yet again.

What was rude about my previous answer.

SMF _sessions emptied and still getting errors.

Kermit

If to be honest,i still didn't get ,in which condition you are exactly getting this error ,because the link from first message can be opened without any problem

kat

Can I suggest you open profile viewing for guests, for a while, so we can check that link, properly, Clothahump?

kat

Had another idea. Might be a bit simplistic, but you never know...

Can you go to Admin>Server settings and simply rename the cookie?

That might log you out, but you can log straight back in.

clothahump

The error is not always to a profile, I had it twice earlier while trying to view new posts, it can occur anywhere on the site.

I am wondering if this is linked to a problem I discovered after the server move, there were images missing from the smf icons folder but if I accessed the folder via ftp they were in fact there, however if the folder is accessed by browser it shows the icons from Apache.

kat

It's replacing that file with an original and the site going "Phut!" that's doing my head in. That really is weird and a half, that.

A long-shot...

When you moved servers, would your CHOWN permissions have migrated with you?

If you no longer have full ownership of the files, would that cause this?

Would mod_security being enabled?

clothahump

I might wait until the weekend and completely kill the site, install fresh copies of smf, TP and my mods and connect to the old DB.

clothahump

Unticked "Use subdomain independent cookies", changed cookie name and no errors so far, they usually show up within minutes, fingers crossed it is fixed.

kat

clothahump

Strange thing was when I unticked the box the "Default login cookies length (in minutes)" and "Seconds before an unused session timeout" changed on their own.

kat

I guess that's logical.

I sure wouldn't've expected it, though.

clothahump

Mark as solved then, still wondering how I was rude with my reply but hey ho.

Thank you all.

kat

It could've been the "No, I doubted it would work when you suggested it." being taken the wrong way. Too easily done, in print, where you can't see facial expressions and stuff.

No harm done, methinks. :)

Forget it ever happened.
