Conversion error to phpBB3 - Subs-Admin? Help very much appreciated!

Hi everyone,

I have tried to convert to SMF from both phpBB2 and phpBB3 and keep receiving the same errors. I have googled and searched this site but cannot seem to work it out. The errors are below:


Warning: require_once(/home/goblinsg/public_html/convert/Sources/Subs-Admin.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/goblinsg/public_html/convert/convert.php on line 335

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/goblinsg/public_html/convert/Sources/Subs-Admin.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/goblinsg/public_html/convert/convert.php on line 335

It is a very small forum with 20 members and 483 posts so I don't mind personally adding categories or the users to SMF if I cannot resolve this error, but moving the posts totally confuses me so I would much rather do a simple convert. Any help is really appreciated as I have personally had it with phpBB

I'll try that right now! I attempted a lot of reinstalls of SMF but did not use this method.

That worked perfectly! Something so frustrating fixed by something simple, typical.

Just in case anyone else has the same issue I'll say I originally installed SMF and phpBB3 with Fantastico but once I did a proper install and upgrade as in the link Yoshi2889 gave me it moved everything across perfectly.
