Search up new topics by date started?

Hi, I was wondering if there's a way to call up a search or list for all threads started in a given board or the site overall, by date started rather than most recent reply? I want to do this because in some of our boards new threads get buried and in other areas they are hard to fine. Thanks to anyone who can help!
