Hi

Is there a mod that allow the post to write a post and rate their experience?

So for example I write a review post about a new microwave I bought, I then set a rating of "positive", "negative", "neutral" to highlight what I thought of the product.

This rating is then shown against my post in the post listings aswel

Does such a mod exist?

Whether either of them is entirely what you're after, I couldn't say, though.

A post to write a post? Can you please elaborate?

What you want seems like a "Like system", applied to posts instead of users. There are some out there. I just don't know if any of them shows the "post rating" in MessageIndex...

Okay, lol I just found that SMF already has post rating by user only already

I can thumbs up or thumbs down my own post, how do I add another status?

Yep.

I'll post my reply, in case anyone else is interested...

Having looked at the code, I think all they've done, is change the message icons. You know when you make a post, you can select an icon, under the title of the topic?

You can add to those, by going to smileys and message icons.

SMF's "thumbs up/down" is *per user*, not per topic as you wish. I'm sure one of the MODs pointed to you will do the trick...
