Upgrade help

Hello

I run a Not-For-Profit for patients with chronic pain issues.  I am not tech
savvy so s for upgrading, I would not know how to do this.  Can anyone help us
by giving any info that you can?

I am upgrading from 1 to 2 SMF.

MAKE A BACKUP FIRST !!!!

Basically , download the Large Upgrade package and Unzip it ...... FTP the unzip files to your public ( the place where your smf site lays on your host ) and overwrite the files and folders ..... Then run http://www.yoursitename.com/upgrade.php and follow the directions

At this point in time, why move it? This topic is about upgrading 1 to 2. MC73 provided a great link full of "info".

If he was seeking assistance for someone to actual perform the migration for him then I would say help wanted, but an information requests seems to fit better in support.
