Sharing users with an external download application

Sorry.. I don't really know where to post this.. 

I'm looking for a download mod which enables users to upload and download files, but erm.. don't seem to find a suitable one (ps: I've looked at SimpleDownload not I need something more than a dir indexer..)

I've found a download application at http://projects.quasars.de which is closest to what I'm looking for.

What I wish now is for my forum users to be able to login to the download application with the same username and password.

I hope anyone with the necessary skills (and maybe needing a download mod  ) can work on a mod.
