Mambo / SMF issue

This is really more of a Mambo issue, but the Mambo board isn't allowing me to post so I'll ask here to see if anyone else has had this problem.

I've uploaded the SMF pages to my site, but when I try to access any of the PHP pages, my site defaults to the home page. I can access the HTML, TXT and even the ZIP files, but none of the PHP. Is there a setting I need to change?

which SMF version/which bridge version you using?
Did you added the code from the bridge to your theme index yet?
