Yeah, sorry about that, it wasn't suppose to be like that.

Yes, there is a well know fact that the permissions on this very own forum aren't exactly a field of roses, combine that with time availability and the very own voluntary nature of this project and you get yourself a nice and messy milkshake.

Regular users cannot start a topic directly here, is a torn situation since on one hand you want people to be involved and to participate, certainly limiting them doesn't help at all. On the other hand there is the need to control the situation by not letting just anybody to post new topics getting offtopic, requesting things, etc.

We will fix this as soon as we can, in the mean time, feel free to join the group :)

Sorry for the inconveniences.
Look at them. They're just asking for it. Maybe the human race deserves to be wiped out.

No problem, I totally understand. I actually found out how to request to join the group rather quickly. Hope I get to submit my WIP soon. Be nice to get some feedback.

I've applied to join the "Community customizers" group something like a week ago and haven't heard from you guys since. Is this really such a big deal that you need that much time to simply accept/deny someone a privilege to post in this board?

It's almost more a failing of SMF really, there's not exactly what you might call 'notification' of the process, so it's reliant on someone who has power to actually check on it.
To assume is to hope that those who came before had the presence of mind and capacity to implement the dreams of those who would come after.

You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain. It seems you have chosen which, and now I must do the same.

Sorry for the inconveniences, I'm no longer the moderator for the group, back when I was the moderator I checked the group page at least once a day since there is no notification or otherwise another way to find out who has requested access.

Yeah, that was my fault, it's not something I'm used to checking regularly. It would've been nice if I was emailed of requests, I turned on Mod Center notifications when I was made lead, I figured these would be included in them, guess I was wrong. I've approved your request to join.

In future, for anyone, if a week has passed and you still haven't been approved or rejected, please send me a PM to bring it to my attention.

Are you already on the community customizer group?  if so, you should be allowed to post new topics as well as download any attachments on this board.

I too, have made the request a couple of times, also with BurkeKnight account.
If could add both, would appreciate it.

Thank you.
