No best way to do that would be to ask on vBulletin we only support VBulletin to SMF.

I just find the http://www.vbulletin.com/en/faq/ hilarious, the number of features they removed in 5.0 and 'will return in a future version'.

But as vbgamer says, we don't support people who want to move away from our software. You bought vBulletin, part of the cost is for them helping you convert to their system.
