You mean between 'Logout' and the 'Subscribe' button?  Not enough room to do that, depending on how many menu buttons a user sees.

Paid Subscriptions is a built-in feature of 2.0.x.

Admin -> Core Features -> Paid Subscriptions - enable it.

Admin -> Paid Subscriptions - set it up here.

Admin -> Membergroups - set Visible Boards to allow only subscribers to view pay forums.
