A Special Thank-You to our Community Support Helpers

The SMF team members are just a small part of the SMF community.  We spend many hours each week answering support questions, all for the joy of helping our fellow SMF community members. Whether we wear a badge from Support, Documentation, Customization, Language, Marketing, Site Team, or Developers we all contribute many hours to making the software and keeping this organization running.  However, we are not alone - which is a good thing, because we couldn't do it alone.

We would like to offer a public, heartfelt thank you to every SMF community member who gives good answers to support questions.  We would especially like to thank the Community Support Helper group. Without their help, the list of support questions needing answers would be totally unmanageable. They deserve an extra thank-you, most especially because they are not on any official SMF team and still offer their support out of the goodness of their hearts.

Any member of the SMF community can join the Support Helper Group and gain immediate access to tools and tips that will help you provide better support to your fellow SMF community members.  Simply look for Community Support Helper under Available Groups on the group membership page of your profile, and click the Join Group link.  You will find that you immediately have access to a "Support Topics" list (in the header section) which displays a list of unsolved support questions that might need your help. Additionally, you will get access to the Support Helpers board on this forum where you can get input from the team and other support helpers and ask for assistance with problems which may involve information beyond your specific knowledge (and, incidentally, expand your own knowledge in the process.)

Thank you again for all your help making the SMF community great.

Sincerely,
The Simple Machines Forum Staff

Please do not PM, IM or Email me with support questions.  You will get better and faster responses in the support boards.  Thank you.

Go Support-Helper dudes and dudesses!

K@, the word is dudettes... :P

WikiKnowItAll - "dude" and derivatives:

QuoteA dude is an individual, typically male. The female equivalent, which is used less often, is "dudette" or "dudess".

Personally, I'd hate to be known as a small "dud", though it has been mentioned once or twice  ???

Not many of us English use "Dude", really.

It's far to chavvy. :)

Community help is always appreciated. I think everyone on the team right now started out as an average community member just helping out.
