Syringa is a nice light purple and grey SMF theme. It is a nice simplistic modern looking SMF theme.

The very first thing that sprang to mind when I clicked the image, was "Syringa". I know, I know, but if you Wiki it you'll see why I thought that...

Edited the first post with a screenshot.  Still looking for name ideas and possibly a font suggestion.  Calibri is what I am using right now as the main font.

I fancy Segoe UI myself, but Calibri is quite nice too. Just remember to select good fallbacks for Mac and Nix.

Wow thanks for the quick reply .  I do have fall backs for Unix Based and Unix Like operating systems. I use OpenSuse as my secondary OS to test that .


As for the live demo question, I still have to get that all set up.  It has been on my to-do list,but I keep procrastinating lol.

Browsershots is handy too, just for checking different browser/OS combinations. It only does guest view, but that's good enough for a lot of things.

Looks Great NBK, really liking the colors.

I have decided to name the theme Syringa as suggested by Shambles. I agree it does look very similar to the flower in colors.


I am still looking for ideas and suggestions though .  I am fiddling around with the board index layout right now.

Nope its a css3 trick . I think I may have to go another route for the non css3 web browsers.

Okay guys I need some thoughts on this.


I have added a box shadow,but not sure how big I want it, or if I want one at all..


I have attached two shadow pics at the bottom.


Any opinions would be greatly appreciated .

2 I think. With the fancy background, 1 gets a bit lost. Then again, I'm not using the theme. It might feel different if you were actually using it all the time.
