Display.template can be used more than once?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to customize my forums even more so I was wondering before starting to edit:

Can I use multiple versions of the Display.template in a way?
Meaning, if I create a separated style in one template and another style in the other, could I possibly use them?

I don't mind if the display.template has another action or link.
If it isn't possible. Well then, I guess I should try to not make a mess out of it .

Yeah the theme that you are using will use the Display.template.php in that theme's folder so each theme can have a custom a display.template.php file.
