1.6 myBB database to be imported to SMF 2.0 database

Hi,

I have an old myBB database and I wanted the data merged with my new SMF database(forum), will the converter posted here suffice? If so, can you provide my the link of the process on how to go about it? Because I tried uploading it via package manager it won't work.

I would first try the regular "MyBB to SMF" converter located at http://download.simplemachines.org/?converters;software=mybb. If that doesn't work, you can try the 2.0rc3 one attached to the topic in this board, which should still work even though it's a bit out of date (I don't believe there were any database changes between 2.0 RC3 and 2.0 final, but I could be wrong).

If neither of those works, you'll have to install SMF 1.1.17 and use the 1.1.16 converter attached to that topic, then upgrade to 2.0.3 after the conversion.
