Hi all,

I'm not sure where this should go but if it needs to be moved please do!

I help administer a small forum (~5300 members, ~380,000 posts in ~16,500 toipics). After upgrading to 2.0.3 from 1.1.17 I am seeing thousands of errors in my error log:

They are all from Subs.php and all in the same order, lines 2813, 2832, 2884. It looks like it occurs fr any post visited.

Also, when I try to add change a theme, add a theme or delete a package I get:
Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again.

I've deleted the sessions table in the database and cleared my cookies to no avail.

Please help, I could really use some pointers!

Try a fresh copy of subs.php and clear the error log. Keep the original in case you need it back or code from it.  It will narrow it down then if you eliminate subs.php as a cause.

Have you tried removing the Ad Management Mod ? What's it like then ?

You dont get to keep mods after an upgrade from 1.1.7 to 2.0.3 do you ? I seem to remember theyre all gone when its upgraded but might be wrong!

Thanks for the advice! replacing Subs.php got rid of the following the errors from Subs.php.

Now I just have to figure out why I'm getting the "Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again." message when I try to add a theme, change a theme, or delete a package. I'm not seeing errors in the log related to the attempts.

You guys have been great! Do you have any pointers on the session errors? I've searched and tried some things like deleting the sessions table in the database, swithing session storage between DB and local and cleared my cookies to no avail.

The session errors may just be attatched to me somehow, one of the ther admins can upload and change themes whithout a problem. What the heck!?!

When I upgraded I uninstalled the mods and deleted them and then added them back after the upgrade was complete.

Could it be a permissions issue? I have the folders set to 755 and the files set to 644.

Thanks for the help!!!

Try enable Persistant links in the Cookies and Sessions area inside admin.
