Compact user info on post Display

Hello!
I need a little help:

I installed this mod, and do some changes in CSS and Display.template.php.
Idea was to leave just poster name and avatar and remove other information about poster, which I did successfully.
But I can't figure out how to put avatar next to the poster name instead under it?

To make these changes in my custom theme appear only on phones and tablets, I guess I should not replace anyting in the css-file, only add

Code Select Expand

@media only screen and (max-width: 780px) at the bottom and then the new css. Correct?
