Is there a mod that allows limiting the amount of times a poster can post in a particular thread?

not limiting how much someone can post all together, and not limiting the amount of posts a thread can recieve

but limited a person to, lets say, 20 posts in a particular thread per day. To prevent worthwhile threads from being bombarded by trolling

Thats not something which may be used by a lot of people, infact you are the first one to make any such request.

Just thinking loud, that can be either done globally or even per thread .. may be checking current member viewing ID against post made in thread by same ID and its done.. I guess !

Thats where moderation comes in. If people are trolling worthwhile threads, warn them, restrict them, or ban them..

I do. end up deleting something like 20 pages per day. I can't always be around though
