Facebook and Twitter

What would be the best way to place a link to our facebook and twitter page in a visible spot on the forum?

On one forum I had I manually edited the index template file (with help) and addded the logos which would link people to the accounts.

I have a black space near the clock, would it be possible to put links in there?

The best place to ask is to the designer of your theme, as they know how it's coded and will know where you need to place your links to make them show where you want them.  We can only guess

Chalky stop nagging a sec.   

I once had a forum where I added four external links to the theme.

It can be done ( I believe) to many themes although some html knowledge would be useful.

However a portal block is also useful.

I could use a portal block but it leaves a bar at the top with the title in, if i could do it without the title bar that would be ideal

Remove the html from the index template file 

As for which text I er can't remember how much was removed.

Er why can I no see a forum button?

Have you got the portal set as a front page?

I have the protal turned off, i had the issue with if i set the portal as a home page i had no forum button
