Posts Disappearing and Only 60 Topics Displaying

2 weeks ago my forum began having issues with topics just dissapearing. Nothing has changed and nothing was altered. They just disappear. Now on top of them disappearing, the forum will only display 60 topics no matter which board they are in. I have repaired the DB, repair_settings.php. disabled all mods, reenabled them, recounted the entire forum statistics, and ran maintenance and nothing is working. They are all still disappearing. Right now if I post 61 topics, the 1 will disappear but the sixty will remain until another is posted and then the last one will disappear again. I have checked the topic settings as well and nothing. It is set to display correctly. Can someone please help me. I am at a loss. Thanks!!

Welcome to SMF.

Firstly, make sure you've checked Disable Template Evaluation then look in your admin section under Server Settings.

What, if any, is the error message now?

Also, let's try to narrow things down, to start with.

Are you using the SMF default theme?

If not, switch to that, for a while.

Do the posts magically appear?

What mods do you have, installed?

Anything weird in the ol' error log?

I have done all of what you guys have suggested. I am using the default theme. I have disabled all mods I have checked the error logs. It is just the weirdest thing. I was running for years and no issues.

Also, have a look in the "Logs" section of CPanel, at the "Error log", there.

Nothing is in that error log either. The last entry was in February. Way before all of this started.

One board called High Quality Female Candids is the only board that this seems to be occurring in. I just checked another board and there are over 4k  pages so it doesn't seem to be site wide.

Yes there is another admin but he is part owner so it wouldn't be him. The kicker is that all of the posts are still in the database. For some reason they just will not display in this board. Here is a link to show that one board has over 4k pages showing and then the link to where only the three will show.

I seem to be seeing everything. So, I'm wondering if it's browser problem...

Can you try a different one, LA?

The reason you are now seeing everything is because I recreated the section and moved everything to the new one and now everything shows. The problem section I put in the admin section just in case it caused a problem and I can revert it. It seems to be functioning okay for now. I am just dumbfounded as to why I had to go through all of that in order for it to function again? Hmm..

But, in your profile>Look and layout, could you have changed "Topics to display per page:", without noticing?

I thought that at first as well but it wasn't just for me it was for every member.

I believe you can change it, for everyone, though, in Admin>Themes. (I could be wrong)
