Package Managment not opening

hi when i try to go into the Package Management part of my site, all i get is a white screen....now i know when i see the "News" part showing it will allow me to go into it but im not connecting to the "News feed" and its not letting me in.....how do i fix this

I'm assuming you're using 2.0.x and have moved your topic here as this is not a bug in SMF, it's a known issue experienced by those using free or otherwise rubbish hosts    Please have a read of this  http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=502354.0
