Best way to add a "Register to Reply" Button (SMF2.0.x)

Hi all!

Question:

What's the best way to add a "Register to Reply" button at the bottom of a thread page that's only visible to guests?

I'm guessing it should be added to Display.index.php?

Is there a 'best practice' method of achieving this?

Thank you, that was helpful.

I parsed the installation process and pulled out the changes I wanted. Did the trick perfectly without having to install the full mod (which would have failed since the install looks for the print button, and I deleted that line long ago.)
