Modifying script - anonymous users

Hi all,
I need help how to remove from SMF script logging of IP addresses.

I research that SMF logs IP address at registration and at posting. I need to remove this for defined by me users.

Please help.

We have forum about historical computer viruses and users are publishing source codes.

Only admins/moderators can see the IP addresses (not available to general users). You mean you can't trust your admin and moderators? I would be leery of not having the ability to track users in a subject that is skirting the edge of legality.

I have set the IP when sending post to "127.0.0.1" and in database change member_ip and member_ip2 to length = 0.

I don't need to track users, because this is forum for trusted people / friends.
