Hello,

Is it possible to remove post counts from my forum? I've looked at the Online Manual but don't see anything on this subject.

Thanks in advance.

Which one? It seems the info center is not there and you moved the post count to the top.

Which one? If possible I would like to remove the individual post counts for members of the forum.

I've never noticed having a info center. Members, Posts & Topics count have always been at the top since downloading the forum software. I didn't move them... I'm so computer challenged I wouldn't know how to do that.   :-[

Hope I don't sound too dumb.   :-[

You don't sound dumb at all, and looking in the wiki before asking your question, was, on the contrary, a very smart thing to do :).

I thought that post count could be turned off as part of the standard forum software, but I can't find such an option, so I'm guessing that I must have dreamt that one.  As a result, you might find yourself in need of a mod, in which case, having a search through the mods section of the site might help you.

I've found a couple, which may be of help:

http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=2673
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=2189

You may have to emulate them though.  For more details on this: http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/How_can_I_install_a_mod_that_doesn%27t_work_in_my_SMF_version

I hope that's not too much information for you, and if there's anything that you don't understand, please ask, and team member, most likely a Support Specialist, will help you out.
