Simple things first  :)  Try going to Admin > Forum > Posts and Topics > Bulletin Board Code and make sure Enable bulletin board code (BBC) is checked.

If you switch to the SMF default theme, are they showing, then?

That appears to be Dziner Studios Zone99 theme. You may want to ask there.  ;)
No, I will not offer free downloads to Premium DzinerStuido themes. Please stop asking.

Man the BBCodes and Smileys are invisible in all themes ..

So there's probably some clashing mod with it. In your browser, check for JavaScript errors.

It's not only me , its for all members.

Arantor

Yes, I sort of realised that. But it won't just magically have disappeared... there will be traces of why it disappeared and in your browser the symptoms should be visible...

Now what do you mean by "when smf forums went down"?  Do you mean when your hosting went offline?  Are you using one of those all-inclusive SMF forum hosting sites by any chance?

Arantor

In Chrome, press F12, the Developer Console should pop up.

In the very bottom right corner, you should see a small red cross with a number next to it, and/or a little yellow exclamation sign with a number next to it. This is the number of errors and/or warnings generated on the current page load. The fact the bbc buttons don't show is a sign that there will be errors.

Click on it and you should be shown what errors are on the page - a single JavaScript error can easily block everything else from working properly.

So let's start, what's your site's address?

S4M1

Arantor

So why are you trying to load stuff from upclan.comuv.com (which is hosted by the known-terrible 000webhost) or upclan.co.nr?

I'm aware that smffy.com doesn't give you full reign to modify anything you like, so you've set things up interestingly... and very likely broken something in the process.

i used upclan.co.nr [nofollow] domain like its short instead of upclan.smffy.com [nofollow] and used as like a gateway that have our servers , logos and members etc , it redirects to the main forum upclan.smffy.com [nofollow] , idk whats wrong it was all fine just noticed week ago this bbcodes and smileys problems happened.

so what do you suggest me to do?

Arantor

So that explains upclan.co.nr, but not upclan.comuv.com. Honestly, I'd suggest getting proper hosting and using that with your domain name - at least some of the errors in that page are caused by you using those multiple domains.

S4M1

so the solution is to make a new clean forum? , but this forum has all information and important posts and very well customized blocks and other customization etc  i dont want to lose that :/ , so maybe i should backup the database or something? if its possible please tell me steps or how to do it.

thanks

Arantor

-sigh- That's not what I actually said... sorry, but I don't have the patience to help you out. Hopefully someone else with more patience will be able to.

man i will do any ****** to fix that problem , i just need someone to tell me what to in more described lines or steps , anyways thanks for helping Arantor i appreciate it.

The thing that's puzzling me, is that one would assume that they worked, at some stage, then they decided not to, for some reason. The only thing that seems to have happened, between one and the other is "I noticed it disappeared when smf forums went down last time". However, as Chalky said, that doesn't, entirely, make sense.

The screenshot you posted looks like some paths got screwed, somehow.

"i used upclan.co.nr domain like its short instead of upclan.smffy.com and used as like a gateway that have our servers , logos and members etc , it redirects to the main forum upclan.smffy.com"

What's that all about? Why make things so complicated, just to make the URL a few characters shorter?

Chalky

Next time please warn me about the noise!!!  Aaaaargh!!!!!!!!  I hate it when websites do that  :-X

Chalky

Ok, I've had a look with my speakers muted  ;)  If this site is hosted by SMFNew then is this not a question for them?  Or am I misunderstanding?  :-\
