When you disable registrations, SMF puts up a message that registration has been disabled.  I want to modify that text.  Can you tell me where that text is located.

Thank you.

Lewis I have given your topic a more specific and descriptive title.

This will attract more people to the post and help other users whom may have the same question at a later time.

Yes, so now I have searched for this question that was asked by another member ... so just how do you do this, as where is it that we find the spot to edit?  Thank you!

In 1.1.1x and 2.0.x  it's in /languages/Errors.english.php -

$txt['registration_disabled'] = 'Sorry, registration is currently disabled.';
