The tag page just broke.

I was trying to fix it from throwing an error and now it is not working at all and it is throwing a new error.

At first it was throwing an error from a different line, then I took out the bottom half of it because that was for the blogs and the blogs are now uninstalled. Now it just is a white page with an error no matter what I do.

What do I do from here? Do you want to see the page? I will attach the file.

When I took the bottom half off the file this error happens:


Fatal error: Call to undefined function countBlogIndexTags() in /home/xanje/public_html/Sources/Tags2.php on line 183

now it is calling to a different file having an error, but that one was working before.

Put it back.

Unless you actually know what you're doing, do not just randomly carve out bits of the code because you think it isn't being used. As evidenced by the error (countBlogIndexTags) it is still being used.

I can't, I accidentally wrote it over and didn't have the originals Well, I have the original of one of them but not the other 3.

I know, I'm an idiot.

Is there any way to get the originals back now? They just got over wrote a little while ago.

If you didn't backup, your only chance is that your host has automated backups.
Or, since that file is from a MOD, just pick the file from the MOD installation!

No, it was custom done.

We don't do automated backups because the database is too big now.

All I did was use the same files that I used on my main site. I don't get why the errors have totally disabled it. The blogs were removed but this was never dependent on the blogs.

Yes but at some point you received a MOD to install, no? Or some files to copy to your forum, I don't know...

Anyway, the file is screwed, you deleted content that nobody knows so your only hope is to restore a fresh copy of it...

There's one person who may have copies--my programmer. He's asleep now, but he will be up in several hours. and he is probably going to kill me...
