A URL, so that we can see, would be helpful. ;)

victory1935

kk. Boss. My site name is http://anonymouszone.nazuka.net     please view it with UC browser

Shambles

Maybe the browser makers should be alerted... site looks fine on non-mobile browsers.

victory1935

so how can i make the site also look good on ucbrowser, because that is the browser most of my members like using

victory1935

no,... But if i am able to use wap2 will it solve the problem?

margarett

You probably will, but WAP sucks :P in today's mobiles, to use WAP is almost a crime :P

PS: your forum is unavailable --> maintenance mode = 2

Yes.. But it is available now, how can activate wap2?

Arantor

Click on the barely readable WAP2 link in the footer of your theme.

I want it to redirect users automatically to wap2

margarett

I wouldn't advise you to do that... But if you're perfectly sure you want it, you need to change index.php where the wap detection is made.
I'm not with the computer right now but I can help you later

A rough solution is

Find:

if (!defined('WIRELESS'))
define('WIRELESS', isset($_REQUEST['wap']) || isset($_REQUEST['wap2']) || isset($_REQUEST['imode']));

Add before:

$_REQUEST['wap2'] = 1;

If you want to go back (you will do it, sooner or later :P ) just remove that line ;)

(That will make *everyone* only ever see the WAP2 version, whereupon most mods won't work properly because most mods never ever touch the Wireless template.)

Thanks bro.. Sorry for bugging u..... mobile detect is it similar to wap2?

Arantor

Not really... WAP2 is a theme built into SMF with a bunch of special features, Mobile Detect doesn't actually make it work on mobile, it just figures out if the device *is* mobile and redirects to an existing mobile theme...

victory1935

Kk.. Thanks for the support.., but the case here is that, whevever i view any website that uses the smf script via ucbrowser in a mobile device the codes used in designing d script are not scattered but mine is scattered,, that is what i was supprised

Arantor

I have no idea what you mean by 'scattered'. Pictures would probably help explain what problem you seem to be having.

What am trying to say is that all those codes, used in creating the smf script are appearing in the forum index when ever a user access my forum site using uc browser

Arantor

Please, can you take a screenshot of what you're talking about?

I fail to believe that a web browser can't render code that's been standard HTML for most of the last decade.

You have a file, somewhere, that doesn't have "<?php" as the opening line, I suspect. Or, perhaps, doesn't have "?>" as the closing line.

From those pictures, I'd suspect Profile.template.php and/or Register.template.php. Both files are in the default theme's directory.

Maybe you could attach both files to your next post, so that we can take a look at them?
