Okay So I have Just Installed the news Fader MOD. This One To Be Precise http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=2695
But It says I need to edit the theme in which I'm not using. But How do I find the news in the theme I have? Also this is my theme, I'm using. http://custom.simplemachines.org/themes/index.php?lemma=2612

Thanks

Kindred

mod specific questions should be asked in the thread dedicated to supporting that mod.

in 2.0, the package manager attempt to install the mod in all themes which have been installed for your forum.
If you don't use a theme, why is it installed?

If you MEAN that the mod tried to install into your theme, but threw some errors during the install, then: http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/Error_in_mod_installation

I took a look at the parsing instructions for the mod just for fun. Why? Because if you are installing a mod and you want to see what files it will affect, the parser is a great tool for that. This mod is very simple in its changes and I seriously doubt that theme contains Sources/Subs.php. I do see this note:
QuoteInstall the package on the SMF Default 'Curve' Theme ONLY. Other themes will need manual edits.
But it's largely irrelevant as I'm really not sure of any theme that uses its own Sources/Subs.php. The mod you installed will work just fine and should be. If not, do as Kindred suggests which is always a good idea for any mod in question.
