Help with a DB error

The board was working fine when I went to sleep and when I woke up this is the error I recieved. SMF version is 1.0.5

The title of the page at the top of the browser reads "Database Error - Mozilla Firefox"

Got error 28 from table handler

As you can see in the image it took 17 sec for the page to load. I know that means there's something getting slowed up on the servers end of things but this was happening before the slowdown. Also if I go to "read latest posts" or "Last unread topics" or somehow avoid the index and go directly to a post the board works fine.

Any and all help would be GREATLY apprericiated.
