One category per page

Is it possible to display one category only on a page ?  I want my SMF 2.0.6 site to have a menu like this:

Home Category1 Category2 Category3 Help Search Profile etc...

And if you click on Category1, only category 1 boards, etc. will appear.  I have searched thru the portal mods and cannot find this functionality.

Portamx Subforums is an option, but it seems that there should be a simpler way to do this.

Thanks, I was afraid of that.  I managed to make multiple forum mod work, but it was not compatible with simple portal for some reason.  I'll dig into it some more.

Update:  I tried this mod, and it works fine, but I don't like the idea of adding another navigation to the site.
