Missing buddy_useron.gif

Just got through upgrading 7 of my boards and in each case I am getting a red X for "buddy_useron.gif".

I searched this site and found it listed but when you click on it to view it, I get the red X again.

Has anyone got one of these squirled away somewhere?

Heres a solution

When you rename in cpanel from like jpg to gif,it goes wrong.Just get the smf package & extract the icon needed from it.

You are probably using a theme that wasn't made compatible with SMF 1.1

If that is indeed the problem, why do I get the red X here?

smf/avatars/Templates/images/buddy_useron.gif ,avatars don't use a template section & the buddy icon is in the default theme
