I'm looking to hide Views: Filesize:  Date: By: from under the thumbnail
and Views: Filesize: Height: Width: Posted by: Date: from under the enlarged picture in SMF Gallery 3.7.

I've already posted on the mod thread - http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=269091.0   ( Reply #3429 on Page 172) and vbgamer45 has told me the file is themes/default/Gallery.template.php

He hasn't time to do it as a paid job and I don't want to pay for the Pro version because I'm trying to keep it as simply as possible. Can anyone offer advice on where in the file I can find the relevant code please? I've removed/replaced every mention of views (for example) that I can find in the files but nothing is making a difference.

You posted a link to a different MOD support topic :P
Your question is here:
http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=114291.msg3657466#msg3657466

As for your question (I hope vbgamer45 is OK with it...)
Find (function template_myimages):

echo '<span class="smalltext">' . $txt['gallery_text_views'] . $row['views'] . '<br />';
echo $txt['gallery_text_filesize'] . gallery_format_size($row['filesize'], 2) . '<br />';
echo $txt['gallery_text_date'] . timeformat($row['date']) . '<br />';

Delete or comment those 3 lines

Find:

<td>
<b>' . $txt['gallery_form_description'] . ' </b>' . (parse_bbc($context['gallery_pic']['description'])  ). '
<hr />
' . $txt['gallery_text_picstats'] . '<br />

' . $txt['gallery_text_views'] . $context['gallery_pic']['views'] . '<br />
' . $txt['gallery_text_filesize']  . gallery_format_size($context['gallery_pic']['filesize'],2) . '<br />
'  . $txt['gallery_text_height'] . ' ' . $context['gallery_pic']['height']  . '  ' . $txt['gallery_text_width'] . ' ' . $context['gallery_pic']['width'] . '<br />
';

Replace with:

<td>';

Find:

if ($context['gallery_pic']['real_name'] != '')
echo$txt['gallery_text_postedby'] . '<a href="' . $scripturl . '?action=profile;u=' . $context['gallery_pic']['id_member'] . '">'  . $context['gallery_pic']['real_name'] . '</a> ' . $txt['gallery_at'] . $context['gallery_pic']['date'] . '<br /><br />';
else
echo $txt['gallery_text_postedby'] . $txt['gallery_guest']  . $txt['gallery_at'] . $context['gallery_pic']['date'] . '<br /><br />';

Comment out or delete.

Thank you for your reply.  :)

That's worked great on the expanded pics Margarett  ;D but not done anything for the thumbnails?

margarett

To be honest I installed the mod on purpose just to help you here, I've never used it before, I may be missing where those thumbnails are...

I see now where the error is, I've made the first change in "myimages" that's where your one images are listed, not on the general category listing.
I'll correct it later ;)

Thank you. I do appreciate you taking the time to help me.  :)

margarett

Find:

echo '<span class="smalltext">' . $txt['gallery_text_views'] . $row['views'] . '<br />';
echo $txt['gallery_text_filesize'] . gallery_format_size($row['filesize'], 2) . '<br />';
echo $txt['gallery_text_date'] . timeformat($row['date']) . '<br />';

And comment out or delete those lines (actually is the same as I first added above, but it is now in function "template_image_listing" around line 205)
And, 2 lines below:

if ($row['real_name'] != '')
echo $txt['gallery_text_by'] . ' <a href="' . $scripturl . '?action=profile;u=' . $row['id_member'] . '">'  . $row['real_name'] . '</a><br />';
else
echo $txt['gallery_text_by'], $txt['gallery_guest'],  '<br />';

Comment or delete.
That should do it ;)
