I was thinking of using drop and drag JavaScript in my mod, but after doing some more research I decided it was going to be way too complicated to write and it might only work in certain browsers. In short the benefits of the feature did not out way the results.

There are people out there who have already created libraries to do this.

Things like this:

And then beyond the endless scripts that are already out there to accomplish the task (jQuery UI being one of them) HTML5 now has support for "draggable".
