chance of taking out smf posts URL and Use with Wordpress without broken links?

I have 2 forums but i need to concentrate on one and use one with wordpress but there is a problem.  I found that Wordpress has flexible plugins and very use to navigate. in order to keep my site forum url from missing on various search engines .please could there be any way of moving my forum smf posts to wordpress without losing my search engine url post? been search for results with no avail.

There was a trick to show SMF posts in WP. Maybe this helps?
So you could keep your links in search engines and the content is also displayed in WP.

thanks but they all didn't give answers to my requests. majority talks about posting to wordpress in sort of feed while my problem is moving all existing posts to wordpress without affecting my search engine, ie keeping the same forum url inside wordpress database. perhaps new posts may carry wordpress preferred urls

I don't think that can be really be accomplished...

If you are talking about convert SMF's posts database to WP, that requires a conversion tool which, if exists, needs to be searched for in WP's support.
If you wish to maintain SMF working but you want to have a copy of the posts shown in WP, then one of those "automated" tools is the way to go.

SMF and WP do not share the same URL construction, so I'd say there is no way to do that without being spotted by search engines... You could eventually build an automated redirect but, again, I doubt that wasn't also detected... How that affects your rankings? No idea

In short. No, it really can't be done without a significant amount of custom coding in both smf and Wordpress
