Greetings

We are using SMF 2.0.7 for our Forums.

How do we upgrade to the latest version of PHPMyAdmin in cPanel

While using Search for Members in Adnin, we get an error message that says "You are using SMF 2.0.7 and your databases are in SMF version 2.0.1. Upgrading to latest version of PHPMyAdmin might help."

All help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks and regards

Illori

are you sure that is the exact error message you are receiving? that is not a default language string, and SMF does not use phpmyadmin.

I typed that error message from memory. It could be slightly different.

I also accessed cPanel and phpmyadmin, which had a message box giving various info, among them that our phpmyadmin was outdated, a new version is available, but had to upgrade link.

if you want the phpmyadmin updated that is in your cpanel you need to contact your host to look into that.
