Moved to SMF 2.0.x Support for now.  Can be moved again if it turns out to be 1.1.x

Its SMF 2.0.7.
Here is the link to the site: http://naijayoutharise.com/index.php [nofollow]. You can register and try to make a post to see what am talking about.

Thank you for your assistance.

EDITED: Please note that I cannot also Edit or Modify the default "Welcome to SMF!" post. I have tried to do this both from my Admin and member account. All I get is the same blank page.

Hey guys am still awaiting your kind recommendation to solve this issue.

I'm thinking of a three possibilities.

1-You have memory problems, as described here: http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=502354.0

Unlikely, though.

2-Your host hasn't given you full CHOWN ownership of the files on your site.

3-Your host gas the crap that is "mod_security" enabled.

If none of those cure it, how was your forum installed? Who is your host? Is it this one? http://megahostng.com

Yes my host is http://megahostng.com [nofollow], its a reseller hosting account i got from www.smartweb.com.ng [nofollow]

But how do I rectify all this issue you mentioned above.

For Items 2 and 3 you will need to contact your host. For #2 ask them to give you ownership of your files.

For #3 ask them if they are using mod_security on your site. If so, request that they disable mod security for your site or to write rules that will ease up the security they have in place.

Did you do the install yourself via a download from SMF or did you use the hosts automated feature?

Thanks for the response, I really appreciate your kind gesture. I also need to be sure those were the cause of the problem, as I was thinking it was a MOD that caused the problem.

I installed it through Softaculous in the cpanel.

well, then, what MODs did you install?

These are the list of Mods I have installed so far.
Could it be possible that any of the Mod is causing the problem and what can be done to rectify it?

   Mod Name
1.    Admin Notepad
2.    Welcome Topic Mod
3.    Optimus Brave
4.    Country Flags
5.    Advanced Censor
6.    Registered Links
7.    Add Social Media Icons To Profiles

I just did a small test now - I installed a fresh SMF in another directory (http://naijayoutharise.com/smf/ [nofollow]) on the same domain and without installing any Mod, I tried to make a new post and also a reply and everything went okay.

My bet is that a Mod must have caused the problem? What do you think or suggest I do from here?

Thanks for your anticipated response.

Since you only have a few, I would suggest installing a clean set of files, and removing all mod hooks...   And then, install the mods one by one, confirming that the forum continues to work properly after each install.

I guess that's what I'll have to do. I will post update if everything worked fine.

Thanks guys for your suggestions!

Yeah....I did it!

I simply decided to uninstall all the Mods and the problem was resolved.

Thanks to you all for your recommendations.
