How to remove expanding images script from SMF?

I installed FancyBox for images posted in messages, but when user clicks on image to show it in FancyBox popup SMF expands image inside message.
How to remove this script?

Why ask author of fancybox if it is more related to SMF than to his plugin?
I do not have fancybox mod from smf modsite.

Oh, I assumed somewhat naively that you'd installed the mod (because that's what normal people do ) in which case it would be up to the mod to deal with it.
