You can't "set it to center"...

You need to edit BoardIndex.template.php and specifically state that you want certain paragraphs/divs centered. I have to leave now, but I can take a peek later.

margarett has alreayd indicated that he MIGHT take a look at the code for you, later...  but he has also told you what you need to do.

However, since you are using a dziner studios theme, you can always ask over on their support site.  They are usually very helpful in assisting people to customize their themes.
