Need help deleting a piece of code

I am tring to get rid of an image box in the top left corner of  the following discussion board I am working on:

hxxp:www.tankworkshop.com/forum/index.php [nonactive]

I have tried changing or deleting the lines I thought to be responsible for this blank spot. When I change those lines the forum quits working.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
