Change URL for Register links

Hi, I have my own 'Register' page on my website as I need to gather more information than the Forum registration page. How can I change the URL of the text and button links that say 'Register'?

The menu buttons are in Subs.php for SMF 2.0. Take a look at:

The header text "Welcome, Guest. Please login or register." is in languages/index.english.php (called from index.template.php)

you would also need to disable the registration in smf otherwise the url will still work.
