if i use mods parse/code in smf does it will takes mega bytes of hosting?

kat

Depends on the mods.

There are small mods. There are big mods. There are mods which will use a lot of bandwidth. There are mods which use none.

It's not about whether you use code or mods or not. Mod is code. Codes are mods. They're the same thing.

Some changes to SMF will take up space and bandwidth. Some changes won't.

If you are concerned about it, you should probably find a host you have to pay for, because you get what you pay for.
Holder of controversial views, all of which my own.

Maybe that is because you are not an European.  So, I will try to give it a shot with as little snydeness as an American can:

A mod parser provides information regarding changes to files and makes changes to the PHP code to various files?  Once the code is run, it is done...  It is a mere burp in your hosts resources.

As the Mighty One points out, it is the mod its self (after installation) that may or may not ultimately use resources.
I have been truly inspired by the SUGGESTIONS as I sit on my throne and contemplate the wisdom imposed upon me.
