img tags are only used in places that accept BBC -- which is messages and some profile fields.

Edit: I tried to go to your forum but it's a clean install, it seems. Therefore, content. Also, trying to enter the board gives an error 403 so you need to check that...

Not really, no...
You can load the image as an attachment and then edit the post and add the URL to the attached image in IMG tags. Or use an inline attachment mod, this will make this task easier

But you also need to learn how the software works...

With that MOD, when you load an attachment, it gives you a like near it to add it to the post. You click that link and that's it. When your post is submitted, your image is attached and displayed inline with the post.
